Critters and Creatures Linky Party 2 - March

Hello and welcome to a new Critters and Creatures Linky Party
It was wonderful seeing so many gorgeous and cute Critter and Creature entries. Thank you all so much for playing along!! Be sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see if you were one of the selected top choices.

As always, the theme is:
Anything goes with a critter or creature

Spring and Easter are right around the corner, so I decided to color up these cute Easter Chicks from a Penny Black clear set.

Image has been colored with copic markers on xpress it blending card. I added the die cut clouds (Memory box die set) to create a little scene and I inked up the background with mostly blue distress ink and some green on the bottom. A few prima flowers with brads and a little button with some twine were added as embellishments. The image panel has then been adhered onto an embossed card front using pop up tape.

Here is a close up:
And this is the inside. I used another cute stamp from the set. This sentiment is from an old retired Stampin Up Easter Set.
This card is listed for sale in my Etsy shop, if you are intersted.

  1. A really sweet Easter image Ellie. Many thanks for getting back to me on the stitching, I am going to give the helpline of the machine a call to see why it might be happening when it's on the right setting.
