I discovered cardmaking over 16 years ago, it all started with a Teddy Bear stamp by PSX, some confetti white pre-folded cards and a golden ink pad that I found at a local craft store. Then I was invited to a Stampin Up party, I thought creating a card with all those wonderful supplies was a little bit like magic, and I wanted to learn all about it.
I used to think that cute cards were my favorite, but now I really am at a point in my life where I like them all (or maybe I should say most styles)! I love getting inky, I love creating with flowers, and of course still have a soft spot for all things cute! I am also learning how to create inked and stamped scenes, although I am not very comfortable with this style of cards yet, but I love the process and hope one day creating them will be easy for me.
On a personal note, I moved to the United States from Europe at 21 years old when I married my husband. We live in the midwest with our 2 kids and 2 cats. I used to work in a pharmacy for over 20 years, some of them in Germany, but a few years ago I decided to quit my daytime job and became a stay at home (and work from home) mom and I am loving it!
Thank you so much for visiting!
Above are two more recent pictures of me from our Germany trip in 2018 visiting family. First one was taken at Schloss Hohenschwangau in the Bavarian Alps and the second one in a small tourist town called Rothenburg. Not talking on the phone --- just fixing my glasses :-)
